Art for Charity

Dear Members,

I am writing to you about the art pieces auctioning donation drive at GTACS 2024 to support the ARC Children's Centre charity

While ISACA SG Chapter provides the platform for knowledge gathering & consumption and professional networking, we often contribute to various CSR activities such as Walk-for-Rice, Willing Hearts, etc. This time we have decided to do art pieces auctioning to help the centre that provides holistic day-care support service for children battling cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.

Our Chapter's Academic Director, Ms Adeline Chan, has kindly contributed her hand painted Chrysanthemum Tea Series art pieces (total 15) to support this donation drive. All proceeds (i.e. donation - cost) will be donated to ARC Children's Centre. There will be tax deductible receipts issued on the proceeds amount to individual/corporate, if needed. We hope to raise minimum S$3k net proceeds from the 15 art pieces.

Each art piece will be in an A3-size frame. The size of the art pieces will be estimated in A4-size but will be artistically cut to fit the frame accordingly i.e. end result may vary slightly.

The art pieces make good gifts for housewarming, office gallery, VIP token of appreciation, birthdays, home decoration, Christmas, etc.
Auction can be done by an individual or a company.

Below are the 15 art pieces. Each art piece has a link or click here to view in pdf with QR Code.
Steps to auction:
1. Go through the 15 pieces
2. Click on the art piece(s) that you like to have
3. Enter your bid (note the minimum bid needed to meet the overall S$3k net proceeds donation)
4. Ensure you enter your contact details and name correctly

You can auction for more than 1 art piece.
The highest bidder will be announced at GTAC 2024 on 16.Jul.2024 3pm. The closing bid will be at 16.Jul.2024, 12pm SGT. Should there be 2 or more same bidding amount, the 1st bidder will be the winning bid.

The highest bidder will be invited on stage to be acknowledged and to receive the art piece. The ARC Children's Centre founders will be handing over the art pieces personally to you as a form of appreciation for your kindness.

If you are not attending GTACS 2024, and you wish to be acknowledged on stage, pls make arrangements to standby to be at Suntec Convention Hall 406 on 16.Jul.2024 2:30pm for the 3pm ceremony.

We will inform all winning bidders by phone on 16.Jul.2024, asap by 12:30pm SGT. We will report the overall costs and proceeds on stage to ensure transparency of this donation drive.

Looking forward to your kind participation!

Thanks,

CHRYSANTHEMUM TEA – ART FOR CHARITY

In Support of Arc Children’s Centre

The Chrysanthemum Tea Series was created by Adeline Chan, ISACA Singapore Academic Director, after she met the founders, Ronita Paul and Geraldine Lee, of Arc Children's Centre. A charitable auction will be hosted during ISACA GTACS 2024, with all proceeds supporting the centre. [Note: The highest bid collected for each painting is tax deductible].

Tea has been a long-standing tradition in many cultures, representing social connections and a time for relaxation and reflection. The act of drinking tea with friends fosters deeper and more meaningful relationships. The chrysanthemum, a common ingredient in this series, symbolizes prosperity, positive growth, and joy.

By participating in this auction and enjoying the Chrysanthemum Tea Series, you can support a good cause while making new connections at GTACS 2024.

The Chrysanthemum Tea Series is painted on Mixed Media paper. Medium used: Japanese watercolour paints.
